Learing in potatoes cutting

Finished my 10th Advance course today, after doing it only I realized how badly I needed it. I promised to my self to sit in an advance course every three month. Afterall the deeper peace, joy, and the unbounded freedom is what we are doing everything for.

Let me share one incidence of the course with you. I was cutting potatoes with few other course participants. I was struggling little bit as potatoes were big in size and I did not realize that my knife wasn’t shape enough. The lady sitting next to me realized this she offer me another knife, which made my job really easy and smooth. Suddenly I was producing chopped potatoes at a very fast rate. After 5-10 minutes another course participant joined me with a vegetable cutter and starting chopping potatoes at a much faster rate. This continued for 10 minutes and then two other lady participants got interested in our service and took over completely. Hence I was free to take some other work.

Now this sounds like a strange story, what is there in it and why I’m telling this story to you?

There are subtle learning and messages in this whole set of events. First “Lady helped me with sharper knife”. There are two messages in it; first if things are not working for you, you aren’t facing the challenges of life with smoothness. Know that you need to sharpen your instruments, which in case of our life is our own mind. Second, if you don’t realize that the very instrument you are using has a problem and someone else realize it for you. Accept their help.

Another course participant joined with fast chopper”, if someone better than you join you. Welcome them in, and be a team and work together. It helps you become better and grow.

two other lady participants took over”, message is, once you become brilliant in doing something. Look for your replacement, support them to replace you so that you can move on and take on other assignment.
